Tips and Tricks for a

Great Picture Day

โœจ Keep it positive

Talk about Picture Day like it's something fun not something they have to โ€œperformโ€ for. A simple โ€œYou're going to have your picture taken at school today!โ€ is plenty.

๐Ÿ˜ด A good night's sleep helps!

Well-rested kiddos tend to have more patience and personality in front of the camera. If possible, stick with your normal bedtime routine the night before.

๐Ÿณ Don't skip breakfast!

A hungry preschooler is rarely a cooperative preschooler. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Make sure they have a good breakfast before school.

๐Ÿ‘• Choose comfort over fancy

Pick something your child feels comfortable moving and playing in. Avoid anything itchy, tight, or difficult to manage.

๐Ÿงผ The little things matter

A quick check before school can make a big difference:

  • Clean face & hands

  • Brush hair

  • Wipe those adorable little noses

  • Check collars and clothing

  • Don't forget those pockets!

๐Ÿšซ Don't stress about perfection

We LOVE personality! A serious face, silly grin, shy smile, or big belly laugh can all make amazing photographs. We'll work with your child and let their personality come through.

โค๏ธ Let us do the work!

If your little one isn't immediately interested in the camera, don't worry. We're used to preschoolers! Sometimes the best images happen after they warm up and forget we're taking pictures.
